Domestic Violence Service Center
If you are a victim of domestic violence or abuse,
you can get free help from the DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICE CENTER (DVSC).
DVSC provides 24-hour a day counseling, referral and information
Shelter: a safe place for you and your children to stay
Support Groups: way to meet other victims/survivors who have been abused
Counseling: information, options and support to help you to decide your future
Advocacy: personal help dealing with the legal systems, housing referrals,and other problems. The advocate will also accompany you, if you wish, to court hearings.
Transportation: help in getting to the DVSC shelter in an emergency
Children's Program: counseling, supervised play, some basic child care, help with school transfers and other services to help your children cope with the changes in your lives.
