Judy Moon has served this office as Clerk and Chief Deputy from 1981 until
1994, and was elected Register of Wills in 1995. The office is located on the
first floor of the Carbon County Court House

administer decedents' estates

Filing and processing petitions for adoption
and for termination of parental rights

Filing and processing petitions for
adjudication of incapacity

Issuing marriage licenses
·
Processing matters involving non-profit corporations
·
Acts as agent for Inheritance Taxes due the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

DEPARTMENT is located at 44 Susquehanna St., Jim Thorpe, PA 18229. Phone

and microfilmed and are available for public viewing and copying in the
