Judge David W. Addy was elected to a ten year term on the Court of Common Pleas commencing January 2006. 

Judge Addy graduated from Temple University summa cum laude in 1981 with an Associate in Science Degree (Horticulture).  He also obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Economics) from Temple University in 1983, where he graduated summa cum laude.  He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree in 1986 from Villanova University.

For 17 years, Judge Addy served as an Assistant District Attorney of Carbon County where he prosecuted many criminal cases, including a significant number of drug cases and sexual abuse cases. Addy also maintained a private practice in Lehighton for the past 17 years and has served as Solicitor for a number of homeowner’s associations and for the Borough of Lehighton.  He has been an active participant with the Carbon County Drug Task Force and served as a Specially Appointed Deputy Attorney General.

The parent of three sons and two step-children, Judge Addy and his wife Carol reside in Lehighton.
